Don't forget - The weekly Saturday public night meetings & observing sessions at
UACNJ
in Jenny Jump are now underway.
NWJAA is a club for amateur astronomers that is
based in Warren County, NJ. The club's primary focus is observing.
In support of this goal, when conditions are favorable
we may not have much lead
time and the meeting notification will
be conveyed through email or phone.
Our primary meeting
location is at the United Astronomy Clubs of New Jersey
(UACNJ)
observatory at
Jenny Jump State
Park in Hope, NJ.
The requirements to become a member in NWJAA are simple to
meet. Send your name, mailing
address, email, and
phone number (so we can contact you about meetings) to
info@nwjaa.org.
There are no dues or fees for NWJAA. We
are a supporting club of UACNJ,
and as such, you are
encouraged to become an observer which will entitle you to use
the Jenny Jump
facilities 365 days
a year and to qualify to operate the
16-inch Greenwood Observatory Telescope (click
"Observer Info" on the
UACNJ site for more
information).
If you have an interest in astronomy, be it beginner or
advanced, why not join the North West Jersey
Amateur Astronomers
and get out there to do some observing with us? Just
send your name,
address, email, and phone to info@nwjaa.org.
